This is the first book by Sam Blake that I have read, but it won't be the last. I found this Irish set thriller a very enjoyable read.

Cressida hears her husband speaking to a mystery women at the end of a phone call when he thinks she has hung up. Brioni, the sister of a friend of Cressida's becomes involved to help Cressida uncover who the mystery lady is. What follows is a story with twists and turns reaching far beyond the initial mystery lady storyline.

The resulting story is one that kept me guessing and I didn't mange to work out all the twists before they happened.

One negative I have is that I would have loved to see the storyline involving Cressida's daughter Emily-Jane fleshed out a bit more. I won't reveal what the storyline is but it is hinted at the beginning of the book and does have a major role to play at the end of the book.

Overall it is a book I would recommend to thriller fans.
