Blinding read
This was a blinding read, I really enjoyed it and could not put it down. It's addictive right from the first chapter and I found the pace was just right for keeping my interest without bombarding me with too much.
I liked most of the characters and loved their relationships. I felt they were all realistic and made sensible decisions (which can be a rare thing to find in books). The suspense throughout was great and I was constantly trying to figure out what was going on before it was revealed.
My only minor negative was that I'd have liked a bit more about Emily-Jane and her activities. I did guess a couple of twists, but that in no way detracted from the story for me.
Overall I recommend this for people's 2022 reads and can't wait to read others by Sam.
*I received a complimentary copy of the book from Readers First and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
