i was really looking forward to reading this one as its my type of book.
lawrence owns a big buisness that makes a lot of money. he built it from the ground up. he has a wife cressida who believes he is ahving an affair. they have a 17 year old emily-jayne.
cressida brings in brioni who is a bit of a computer whizz to get the dirt on her husband. they end up getting in a bit too deep. people get murdered, they are contract killers and mobsters involved.
i found the characyers to be a bit flat. you never really get to know them and what they are actually like. its almost wrote like for someone to read if they were going to act it out. would probably make a very goof tv drama. i dont really say this often but if it were made into a drama it would be alot better than the book. i felt like it was missing a bit of depth.
im still confused as wether the end was supposed to be a bit of a twist but i felt it really let the book down.
