One word to describe this book: disappointing.

Remember My Name starts with Cressida overhearing her businessman husband Laurence with another woman. Angry, she hires Brioni (a computer expert) to gather data on him that will ensure that she can divorce him and get a decent amount of money in the settlement. But Brioni discovers much more than Laurence's infidelity, and bribery, murder, and dodgy dealings follow.

This book started so well, and for the first 150 pages was a real page turner. However, as it progressed, it felt like it became more convoluted and unbelievable. And by the end I had lost all interest in the plot and the characters. I felt that the characters were somewhat one dimensional and sometimes lacked credibility.

What I enjoyed about his book was the short chapters; they added to the pace and made it easy to read. I also enjoyed the idea of it; the angry wife, seeking to find out what her husband has been up to. It would have been better if it had stayed with this plot. Instead, it seemed to run away with itself.

I gave it 3 stars because it was a page turner initially and because I enjoyed the detail about hacking.
