This time, though, she is determined to uncover the truth and guarantee that, if he is unfaithful, she receives the compensation she is entitled to. After all, Cressida has been by Laurence's side since the beginning, helping him build a multimillion-dollar business, create a comfortable house, and practically single-handedly raise their seventeen-year-old daughter. Brioni O'Brien, a security expert and the sister of one of Cressida's friends, is enlisted to assist her. Brioni is the only person who can uncover the truth. Laurence, while having his own tech-related firm, isn't the best when it comes to personal online security.This is a story that leads the reader to down paths that they don't expect, and it's full of tension. There's a grimy and downright dirty cast of characters mixed in with the money and glamour, and the majority of them will stop at nothing to obtain what they want.
Even people who aren't on the right side of the law can't help but appreciate Blake's female characters. They take over the storyline because they are feisty, bold, and not hesitant to finish a task!!! Fantastic novel.
