This is a thriller with lots of plot twists and turns.Initially it seemed very confusing as there was so much going on however I was quickly interested and wanting to know more about the characters
Initially this gives the impression it is a book about an unfaithful husband who is caught out .His character is not very likeable from the start of the book and he does absolutely nothing to redeem himself as the story enfolds.
At times as the plot became more twisted and complicated it did seem to be quite contrived as the characters lives became increasingly interwined however this could be forgiven as the story gripped my attention.
Cressida's character as the revengeful wronged wife was entirely believable , Laurence, her husband, a definite nasty piece of work ! Their sassy seventeen year old daughter Emily Jane comes across well as a teenager
Brioni is a character who has you on her side from the beginning and I found myself cheering her on to help Cressida prove he is cheating on her
I don't want to give too much away about the plot but suffice to say that it is about much more than a cheating husband and I can guarantee that when you find out more about Nina you will definitely remember her name!
