I really enjoyed reading this book.
The main character is Cressida Howard who suspects her husband Laurence is being unfaithful and not for the first time! She overhears a woman talking at the end of a phone conversation with him in his hotel room. So she hires Brioni O’Brien to investigate and find evidence to enable her to divorce him and ensure she gets a fair settlement.
But Brioni soon discovers that there is more going on than just infidelity. Cressida and her teenage daughter could be in great danger when someone starts killing Laurence’s women!
The plot has many unpredictable twists and turns in this well written thriller. The characters are believable and nicely constructed to make you care what happens to them.
The book is a page turner which could keep you reading just another chapter when you should be doing something else!
