Fast-Paced and Exciting
I am a sucker for short chapters when I am reading - I am not sure why, but I feel like time drags when the chapters in a book are really long. Remember My Name is faced-paced and constantly moves along the plot, so I was engaged throughout. Some of the twists in this book were a bit predictable, but there was also others that were not, so they evened out really.
This novel is full of morally questionable characters who slunk around in the seedy side of business. One of my favourite characters was Emily-Jane, because she was so smart and intelligent. If there is a sequel to this book (which the ending suggested there might be), I will definitely read it just to see more of Emily-Jane.
I really liked the setting of this novel, the landscapes of Ireland felt rugged, almost isolated, and added to the ongoing tension throughout the novel. I have never been to Ireland, but this book convinced me that I should take a trip in the future.
