This was a good crime thriller, but I would, unfortunately, not class it as great. The book started so well from the very first line 'If she'd turned her phone off, instead of listening in, perhaps nobody would have died' and instantly I was connected with Cressida and her story. Her husband Laurence was the smarmy business man and her daughter Emily-Jane a vital, if mysterious part of the story. I loved Brioni, but unfortunately some of the scenes with her were when it started to get a bit far-fetched and the book began to lack its authenticity.

It is not until nearly the last page that you understand the title of the book Remember My Name, and this frustrated me all the way through the story, because I kept thinking I had missed something.

On a plus note, the cover of the book is beautiful with the blues and the isolated sinister looking house up on the cliff.

My first by this Author, and I would certainly try another one by them.
