His choices. His decisions.
When Cressida finds out through a phone call that her husband Laurence is having an affair with a woman called Nina, she hires Brioni, a cyber security expert, to investigate. What she finds out is more than she bargained for and she needs to act fast before her and her daughter Emily-Jane become collateral damage to Laurence's decisions.
The first third of the book was really intriguing, getting to know the characters and I read it really fast. Unfortunately, the second and third parts of the book lost me. The characters felt flat and I felt the story was stretched out for too long with some mini storylines like Emily-Jane and Danny boy being squeezed in the book. I also didn't see how the title fit in with the book.
However, I liked that the last two chapters explained everything and the last paragraph was interesting, leaving room for interpretation about Cressida and Pierce.
