The book blurb hints at danger and collateral damage and the ingredients are all there for an exciting thriller. However, I did find some of the book felt a bit like padding, particularly around the character Brioni. I think Sam Blake was writing with the intention of a really twisting plot and there are aspects of that but the trails were very easily followed so not as much of a thriller for me I’m afraid.
