This book really surprised me. I was initially really excited to read it, but I was also still very sceptical as it is not a genre I have read much from. It is a crime thriller (a favourite of my dad, but I have have not read much in that genre). But this book was an excellent introduction to this genre. It’s a real tale of deception and lies, and we follow multiple stories that come together in the end. This novel is made up with a bunch of unlike characters and that’s what made me read on as I waited for them to be dealt with. This book, is a book full of surprises and plot twists that keep you guessing throughout all the way till the ending, and this book had a really nice ending. The novel is well written and full of drama as we uncover the crime. I look forward to reading other pieces of works by this author. And of course, read other works in this genre as I was pleasantly surprised.
