This book ended up being so much more than I'd expected, I went in expecting a typical thriller-esque book and that was no where close to what I got! I guessed a few of the minor twists, which didn't detract from my enjoyment as I get such a sense of achievement when I guess what happens, however, there were other twists which blew me away and I hadn't seen coming. Some of the characters, such as Cressida, took some adjustment to get used to and like but she grew on me. Brioni and Alex were my favourites and I loved anytime they were in a scene. My only real issue was how a certain character, in my opinion, didn't get any real repercussions for their actions, there was some but I didn't feel like it was enough based on everything they'd done. Once I got to the 200 page mark, things took a wild turn and everything ramped up so I didn't want to put it down needing to know what was happening next. Overall, I really enjoyed the book and I'm excited to pick up any other works by the author.
