Creepy start to the novel, but a little jumpy in terms of plot -switching from one time to another just as you start to warm to the story, which I find frustrating. We see a man hovering over a woman with a knife and intent to kill. We flash back to various times and so the mission to find out who the man in the Balaclava is begins.
