Straight away I was pulled into the story of Natalie, it is written in such a way that builds up tension and lots of questions. There's a lot of mystery about Natalie, why did she go to the cottage and what is she looking for. And for that reason alone I can't wait to read on further. And as for the cottage owner, what's his story? Finally the structure of the hook is very unique and it adds to the anticipation and mystery.
