The moment that i began reading this i began to get shivers down my spine, i already knew that i was going to enjoy this book. The line Unaware that she wasnt alone made me sit up in my chair and immediantly made me want to find out who the dark figure is. I like the way that the author describes thing in the dark room differently and only goes into the important details e.g the clothes that the dark figure was wearing and the fact that there is a wedding band visible on her ring finger. Already i am brainstorming ideas about who the dark figure could be. I like the cover because of a couple of things first off the cover is red which may stand for blood, there has already been a murder in the book so the words Play. Pause. Run. may mean that the murder has something to do with a recording and i like the way that the image is split into squares and the main image of a woman is distorted, that gives me the impression that maybe some footage of a murder has been corrupted. I look forward to reading this book in full as it looks like a book that i would really enjoy.
