If you're a fan of Norman Bates then this is the book for you! In Rewind we meet Andrew, the manager of a small holiday cottage let in Shanamore. Andrew likes to keep an eye on his guests...a very up close and personal eye by watching their every move via a cameras hidden away in the cottages.

One evening when there's only a single occupant in one of the cottages (Natalie), Andrew is up to his old tricks . Unbeknownst to Andrew, Natalie is a famous Instagram 'influencer' who has escaped from her husband who she suspects is cheating on her.

As Natalie is asleep, Andrew also falls asleep. When he awakes a few hours later the tv screen has gone blank, the connection has been interrupted. When he rewinds the tape he sees someone enter Natalie's bedroom and brutally murder her. Somehow this murderer knew exactly where the hidden camera was and only disconnected after they committed the crime.

When Natalie is reported as missing, yet no crime has been reported from Andrew, you have to rewind this story to find out the dickens is going on!

I really enjoyed this book. The timelines hop about a little bit but it's really fast paced and full of sinister mystery that will keep you hooked until you finish. There are a few red herrings put in there to make you convinced you know whodunnit and why but there's a clever little twist in there to give you a good enough surprise that you ddn't have it all figured out!

A smashing 4 star read for me.
