I enjoyed the concept of the story & the suspense it created, I feel this is unique and much different to other crime novels I’ve read. The structure is quite intriguing & different too which I liked as it does make you more engaged with the novel & keeps you guessing about what might happen next/who the killer is/the relationship between killer and victim etc. I did however feel the writing style was a little simple with lots of short & very simple sentences. I felt this sort of made it feel like I was reading a young adults book rather than a book aimed at adults purely because of the simplicity of the language and writing structure. Overall, I enjoyed the concept but wish it was written in a more complex & mature way.
