This was a book that I'd read good reviews for so decided to borrow a copy from my local library and I didn't have long to wait for it. It was a brilliant book and was annoyed that I read it in one sitting. The plot was strong and interesting and I found it was modern. The characters were fantastic and worked well together with some characters that I liked and others I didn't. I thought the cover didn't really go and should have been a picture of the remote cottage.The ending wasn't really a surprise but it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the book. I found the book bouncing between past and present. The chapters were a good length and i found each chapter dealt with a different characters. A good read.
