Gripping story with love hate characters!
From the start I disliked the main character a little bit...she seemed to have everything and not even appreciate it, whilst her best friend struggled along and she took for granted the privileges she had.
After a while I began to warm to her and realised all was not as it seemed. Full of self doubt and anxieties, she conjured up ideas in her head that her husband was upto something, and so set off on a mission to get some answers.
Alongside this, there's the reporter who is desperate to find out what Natalie is upto and why she's snooping around a quiet Irish town on her own.
I made some predictions about what would happen from this point in the story, but couldn't have guessed the ending, which made it all the more interesting.
Would look out for this author again!
