I was completely hooked
This book is written with a great pace that keeps the reader hooked, I was certainly pleased with the twisted ending that was not immediately obvious until more details came to light.
I especially liked how the author included the viewpoints of various characters as well as the video camera-like chapter titles. I thought this was a unique way to tell the story, making the reader piece parts together.
I felt I could sympathise with the main character, Natalie, more so as I got to know the true story behind the murder. Although it could be argued that she is not a main character, merely a part of the wider mystery.
I also liked the author’s use of descriptive techniques, however I think they could be improved upon, as I felt they could help the reader to picture the setting more clearly.
