I loved this book - so so creepy and thrilling, I just couldn't put it down. The book starts with a camera capturing footage of a woman who is murdered as she sleeps, with the murderer ultimately destroying the camera. As the story rewinds to the start we see that Natalie, a social media star, escaped to the isolated village of Shanamore, staying in the Holiday Cottages managed by an extremely odd character called Andrew. Natalie suspects that her husband Mike is having an affair and so is trying to dig up some information on him, whilst Mike appears to be completely clueless as to why his wife has disappeared, and why specifically she has gone to Shanamore. The story develops further as a journalist begins to look into her disappearance.

The writing style continuously flicks back and forward in time which at first I found a little confusing, but I grew to love this as it created so much suspense and thrill. I loved the vast array of characters in the book - pretty much everyone seemed to have a creepy element about them which made the story all the more exciting. I found myself checking around me to ensure there were no cameras or no murderer out to get me!

Although I had my suspicions about what was going to happen, I by no means had it all sussed out. I think that even if you do suss it out, the story is so cleverly crafted that this is not something that would matter. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone that loves a good thriller, 5 stars!
