It blew my mind !
My first impression upon hearing of the book was that it would be a version of PSYCHO with a 21st century update. It was that, on steroids and then some !
Every character, from the ordinary to the downright creepy was incredibly believable and well-developed, with just enough back-story. The fast pace was maintained throughout. The plot had more twists and turns than DisneyWorld's biggest rollercoaster or England's famous Spaghetti Junction road system in Birmingham; these twists lasted all the way through to the neatly written shocking conclusion.
I am looking forward to many more of the same psychological horror, because Catherine Ryan Howard is going to be the Stephen King of this Millennium.
