I read the liars girl by Catherine Ryan Howard and throughly enjoy it so had high expectations for Rewind. However, the author sped past those expectations with her new book. Her writing is simply great- at times her descriptions were so good I could have been in the rooms with the characters!
The story itself started with a bang too- a gruesome murder in the opening pages left me reeling and unable to put the book down. What a great way to open a book! With nods to real life vs social media lives and the potential dangers that go with how much we can expose of our lives without meaning to and under tones of a classic horror story I really enjoyed it.
Don’t start it when you’ve got a lot on though as I can imagine it would be hard to remember the threads if you weren’t able to read for a couple of days.
