I was so looking forward to reading this book. I love thrillers and this one was very highly anticipated.
I was concerned, when I first started reading it, that the change in POV and jumping through different points in time would make it difficult to follow, but in reality it added to the story and suspense massively!

The plot is easy to follow, but has you flicking back and double checking details, because you’re so desperate to workout what’s going on!
The characters make you feel as they should about them, and their development is brilliant, complex and slow, which just adds to your attempts at trying to figure out who the baddie is!

The scene setting is fantastic and definitely makes Shanamore feel creepy and cold, distanced from the real world somehow and a place able to make someone feel isolated.

I loved this book and thought it held my attention and kept my suspicion and intrigue going.
I did work out the ending, but maybe just after half way.
I feel like you’re probably supposed to know by then and just start to work out and unravel the finer details of the plot.

If you love thrillers then I’d recommend this!
