This book definitely begins with a bang when a murder is caught on a hidden camera. Natalie O'Connor is a famous instagrammer who needs some space from her life to figure things out which leads to her spending time at Shanamore Cottages but what she doesn't realise is that there's a hidden camera in her room. Andrew is the manager of the Cottages who becomes witness to Natalie's murder when he's watching her bedroom footage, but how can he tell anyone what he's seen without revealing the secret filming he's been doing? Then we have Audrey, a tabloid reporter desperate for her big break in journalism which comes when she's tasked with reporting on Natalie's disappearance.

This book was a great, fast-paced read which left me feeling overly anxious at times. The parts where Natalie was at Shanamore I could really feel her fear through the pages and the whole book definitely left me feeling anxious at the idea of staying in a hotel again. However there's also a lot of back and forth and at time I couldn't help feeling that the book was slightly jumbled. Also oftentimes something intriguing would happen at the end of a chapter but by the time we'd got back to that person again I would've forgot what happened previously.

Overall, this was a book I enjoyed but it didn't quite live up to my expectations. It's definitely a fast-paced, twisty read but it wasn't as shocking or as memorable as other books i've read recently.
