Well, I always like to be positive, but this book wasn’t the best for me. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it, I was just expecting more from the synopsis and reviews I’d read. To be fair it isn’t a bad book, but I just found it a bit too predictable. The where, how and who was laid out in an easy to follow trail with no hidden surprises. I did like the way the story switched cleverly between characters and the element of Play, Pause, Rewind, which led us through the story. The characters were all well written although I did feel the character of Richard was perhaps a bit unnecessary to the story and an obvious red herring. This book is a worth a read as it is quick and easy.
