From the get go I was glued to the pages of this thriller. Immediately from page one you are drawn into the thick of it, an intense start to the book.

The authors writing style is something I really liked. It was so descriptive, so atmospheric. You felt like you knew the places mentioned, that you had travelled there before. The fact majority of the plot was based in a small remote area made it all the more intense and thrilling.

I loved the alternating narratives from the characters. Each had their own story, their own background - superbly written. I also loved the fact the sections were divided in to Rewind, Fast Forward and Play. These were written in different tenses building up to the full story, revealing just enough to keep you wanting more. These also really played on the CCTV theme from the beginning of the book.

I did have majority of the twists figured out (happy dance), but the beauty of this book was that I was so captured within its pages that this did not detract from the enjoyment of the novel.

I thought this to be an exciting, thrilling read. The first I have read from this author, but I will be looking at other available titles.

Friends, I fully recommend this book if you are looking for a truly gripping thriller.
