The bright orange cover catches your eye immediately, and I love how the chapters follow a similar pattern to the synopsis (Play/Pause/Rewind/Fast Forward) which makes for a very clever set up for the book. I found myself immediately invested in knowing what has happened and who was behind it. My burning question from the start was to know why there is a hidden camera in the guest house to start with!

The book is full of suspense throughout, the only part that took a toll on my brain was trying to link up the timeline and the tapes, which left me confused in some parts. But I found that I was just so desperate to figure it all out that I just had to fly through and hope it all made sense in the end!

I didn't feel much of a connection to any of the characters, nor feel that I really got under the skin of any, however I did feel invested in their actions and events, which kept me hooked to their stories throughout.

Rewind took a completely different turn (albeit a bit of an uncomfortable one)! I was left feeling so shocked at some of the elements that came into play to explain the events of what had happened. But most of all.. that ending!! I'm not sure how I feel about it, but all I can say is that I can't stop thinking about it. MY burning question now.. is there a second book? I sure hope so!

This was a very enjoyable read, and I can imagine this being a great premise for TV/film! Due to having felt lost in the timeline in places I felt a four star review on Goodreads accurately represented my experience with this book, but I would certainly read a follow up from the author!
