This seems a fantastic, well-constructed novel. Fast paced and endlessly interesting, Fabbri thinks ahead making this a well-plotted story and grips you, keeping you guessing and i would love to find out what happens next. The characterisation is excellent and the narrative is smooth. The author clearly has a genuine love of the historical setting and this shone through in some of the detail. Loved the cover too, it was very intriguing!
