I know of Robert Fabbri thanks to my Dad as he has read all of his books and is a massive fan. After i read this book, i passed it onto my Dad who is currently reading and enjoying it.
I am always put off reading historical "blood bath" reads as i am not sure if i would keep up and the stories would keep me interested.
What i have liked about this book is that you don't need to have read his others in the series, they are pretty much stand alone titles. Yes, maybe would help but its not necessary to do so.
The story was interesting and informative, the plot has ALOT of action, so you would not get bored, if anything you will get tired keeping up. It's not for the faint hearted either, it doesn't beat around the bush.
I'm glad to have given this book a go!
