The colourful cover drew me in! A short and sweet introduction in this first impression - the language is like Crazy Rich Asians (so I understood some of the phrases) but constant. While I think reading the novel you would be completely immersed and on top of what is happening I needed to concentrate to follow the conversation in the first chapter.
