Chic-lit with a difference! I have never read anything set in Singapore before, let alone written in Singlish so this was definitely enlightening for me.
I found the characters interesting; especially Jazzy and her colourful and entertaining life that consists of partying and socialising! However, despite all the glitz and glamour - life isn’t always about that and the story shows us how Jazzy discovers this along the way!
Funny and witty at times, this book offers a great insight into Singapore life, especially that of the young girls trying to find a white boyfriend and ultimately marriage too!
Although this book appears as a fluffy chi-lit, it is actually full of deeper thoughts and meanings.
