This book reminds me of a soap opera - fun and fast pace with lots of twists and cliffhangers. If you enjoyed Crazy Rich Asians then I think you'll love this one. The book has a strong sense of time and place and i felt myself transported to the world within its pages.
The characters were well fleshed out and seemed realistic and well rounded. I enjoyed the dialogue and inter relationships. The writing was succinct and witty. I found it hard to put down and it made a fantastic read on my summer holiday, although I devoured it within a couple of days. This is one of those books you want to tell your friends about!
