I think I’m getting too old for these books.
After reading the blurb I did think this book might be aimed at a different demographic to me. I wasn’t really sure If I wanted to read it and unfortunately, I was right - this book wasn't for me at all.
I didn’t like the cover of Sarong Party Girls, it just says ‘Cheap’. I still gave it a go as I like to vary what I read. I should have stuck with my first impressions. The blurb and the front cover give a lot away- this book is like n 18-30’s holiday when you’re in your 90s. I found the book to be very hard to read. I didn’t relate to the characters and I couldn’t keep up with the plot. It is a bit of a shame, but I think I’m too old for this book.
If you are young, modern and up to date you may just live it though.
