Left Feeling Meh
I was really excited to get my hands on this book after reading the first look and especially knowing it was a reimagining Of Jane Austen’s “Emma” novel. I was very disappointed if honest.
After being described as something that would be perfect for fans of “Crazy Rich Asians” which is a book that I truly fell in love with, I felt really let down by the expectations that comparison set.
I found that the writing style didn’t really sit well with myself and found it hard at times to follow the story and plot. Also I found the characters and the character development was very poorly done to myself and I found that I could not relate to them at all.
Despite having some good moments they were too rare to justify me giving this book a higher rating.
