Sadly this wasn't my cup of tea , I felt it had a lot of potential as I liked the premise and thought maybe it would just be a light hearted funny read. But for me I just found it really irritating and I didn't like any of the characters much at all. The main character has some character development but for me it felt far too late in the story for it to happen. I was hoping it would be like Sex and the city , and also some elements of Crazy rich Asians , but for me it just felt flat sadly. I do however appreciate the fact that a lot of deeper and darker topics were covered, it has a lot of themes explored and talked about in this story but for me it didn't save it. I have seen this get a lot of praise so that's good! But just didn't do it for me personally.
