I was excited to read this book as it peaked my interest, with it's interesting storyline.
Firstly, I loved that the book is set in Singapore, and that it written in Singlish, this made the book feel more authentic. Reading in Singlish takes a bit of work, but it completely adds to the atmosphere and originality of the story.
The storyline involves Jazzy and her friends, who are in their 20's and regularly visit the party scene. Their ultimate goal is the snare a ( Ang Moh ) a white man who is both rich and successful.
Overall this book completely stands out as different and daring. I very much enjoyed it, and hope that there is a follow up or sequel to it. Although a bit difficult to start with, perceive because it's worth it.
