Was a good read
I love the cover!
Now I know nothing about Singapore, their culture and had never even heard of the term #sarongpartygirls before this so it was really interesting to me. I found some bits lulled, I had to google a lot of them terminology and even after I still forgot what it meant and had to check.
In the beginning I was like oh this is just a book about a group of friends going out partying but I just had this sense of unease about some of it, which then later sort of came to fruition.
I could never tell if I liked jazzy or not. There was something unlikeable about her but she had such a childlike naivety about what was happening that you couldn't not like her at the same time.
I didnt feel any connection with the other characters and felt there could have been a little more to it but I did enjoy reading this.
It's not one I would have picked up by myself but it was a good quick read (around 300 pages) and I enjoyed it while I was reading it
