This starts as an exciting adventure, with a Cassy heading off to New Zealand with her boyfriend for an adventure before her friends wedding. Once out there things take a turn that you wouldn't expect. What I love about this book is that the author has been brave enough to actually write about a subject that we all seem to ignore. This book highlights how easy it is to play on someones interests and ideologies and bend them to your will.
Will she return home? Can you get out with her new family? Although the characters that make up her new family were a part of her disappearance you can't help but fall in love with them as well. You find out that they were all lead to believe the same as her. That all along they had her best interests at heart.
