I honestly didn't expect to like this book as much as I did. It's completely different from anything that I normally read. Also it has a lot of religious references in it with regards to Faith, beliefs and 'the Last Day' and normally this would put me off as I'm not religious at all.
However I found this book to be quite refreshing, because of the difference in genre to what I normally read and also of how it opened my eyes to the lengths people will go to when they believe in something.
I found the book absolutely fascinating and I was gripped from the start. Will definitely be looking into reading some more of this author's books and see if they have the same effect on me.
