I didn't know what to expect from this upon reading the blurb. I didn't know if a book centred on a cult would be my thing but I'm so glad I read this.
The story line follows Cassy, who goes travelling to New Zealand with her boyfriend, Hamish. After bickering constantly, they decide to go separate ways. Cassy hitchhikes and ultimately hops in a mini bus, leaving Hamish behind. What starts off as a group of people in a beautiful area, it soon becomes apparent that they aren't as free as they may believe. Cassy becomes embroiled in a cult, of which her family are eager to get her back from.
This book is so so good, a definite page turner and you'll find yourself screaming at Cassy to open her eyes! Highly recommended.
