I really liked the premise of this book: a girl gone blind, where the book explored her thoughts and feelings, especially involving her partner and family. However I found it quite hard to read, I think this is down to two things. One is that it was translated from spanish so perhaps it was this that made it not flow very well. Second the set of the book didn't help for example, speech was not put in speech marks and there were not chapters but subheadings, this meant that the whole book was made out of long wordy paragraphs which made this quite a difficult read.
If the book format was set out in a way that made the book flow more easily I feel that this would have been a more enjoyable read.
