I was so excited to read this book, the cover is stunning, the blurb makes it sound so unusual etc. It was unusual, but not necessarily in a good way. The beginning when Lina loses her sight is gripping and had me hooked instantly, but after that I really struggled to pick this up. For a 150 page book, it took me longer than a 500 pager.
The formatting also bugged me, as it's translated it didn't seem to flow correctly not to mention the lack of speech marks for conversations (I'm simple, I like them to be there).
I think the potential this story-line has is incredible, and maybe it would translate better in a movie or tv show. However, this book was just not for me sadly, which is so disappointing as I had high hopes!
