It looks like one of those book you just know you're going to love.
Everything about this book looks fantastic, from the cover to the premise and the names of the characters.
I wouldn't say I was a fan of fantasy fiction as a rule, but some of my favourite books, including The Watchmaker of Filigree Street, His Dark Materials Trilogy and The Night Circus certainly fall into this genre so maybe I'm just kidding myself.
The Spellslinger is the next book in my 'to read' pile and I would love to be able to follow it straight up with Shadowblack. It looks like one of those book you just know you're going to love.
