Brilliant plot, amazing characters and of course magic and mystery. The introduction of the new character of the girl who is blindfolded but isn’t actually blind is a good move because it adds more intrigue and mystery to the story. Kellen and Reichis’s relationship develops further during this book too which is always amazing to see because it’s so well written that it’s almost subtly showing that they’re much more comfortable together than they were before and the fact that Kellen’s people are pursuing him adds the action to it and gives the author a chance to write some right scenes, and show off more of their amazing writing style. The plot in this book is as amazing as the first one, and although this book did draw me in a lot, it wasn’t as gripping as the first one, but it was still amazing in so many ways. Kellen is an amazing character and he says and does all the right things he needs to and just makes you wish you were right there with him.
