After quite recently falling for the cover (I know of the old saying but I really couldn't help myself) of the first book in this series, Spellslinger, I was was intrigued to see that a sequel was available for purchase.
While I have actually yet to read Spellslinger, and thus, Shadowblack, my excitement to read both has not abated.
The synopses for both books are intriguing and the first read chapter sampler of Shadowblack promises a compelling read.
It has also come to my attention that a third book in the series, Charmcaster, will be released in May of this year so I may have to hold off on reading the first two books in order to be able to read all the books together, back to back.
