Once again I made the mistake of trying to read this without having read its prequel.
This wasn't the best idea as it was confusing and felt a bit messy.
I didn't get on with the writing style either and the plot didn't seem to make any sense. The plot isn't the book or authors fault but mine for not reading thr first book beforehand.
I couldn't get on board with the characters and their role within the book, I felt they were messily written.
Unfortunately the little I read of this one wasn't enough to make me want to go back and start the series from the beginning.
However I have been told that the first is incredible and that this is a great following.
Just not for me I dont think. Never mind
