This book managed to grab my attention straight away. Something about the writing felt very compelling to me and it portrayed several aspects of social media perfectly. Each feeling that the central character felt when thinking about the social profile she'd built up for herself seemed real, as did her itching need to see all of her likes, comments and messages. One line in the prologue struck me as particularly chilling as it painted society's need to capture a tragedy on camera even in the midst of someone else's pain.
Also the cover is what initially drew me to this book. The yellow title really stands out against the background.
