Holly Evans has built a Social Media empire on clean living and healthy eating. Started as a means to keep herself sane when diagnosed with cancer she has survived that and is well on her way to becoming a social media celebrity - even going so far as having released 2 healthy eating cookbooks.
All is very definitely not what it seems and she has been attacked by a stranger, a man she thought was interested in her romantically. As is the way of things people that witnessed her dramatic stagger in to a fast food restaurant just had to film it and post it on their own accounts. Even these posts are welcome to Holly, she needs the validation of the likes, comments and shares to make her feel almost whole.
Fast paced writing and a clarity of vision make this an excellent start to the book. Hopefully this will be continued throughout the story and the strong start is not dissipated by looming deadlines (the flaw of many a writer sadly).
